Amelia Nardinelli

This body of work reflects many years spent uniting words with images; and thinking about how people interact with their environments, both physical and digital. It’s been a diverse and fulfilling  journey fueled by a bit of good luck and a lot of late nights.

I grew up in Berkeley, CA, known for its political activism, slow food, and eccentric character. I crossed the country to attend the Rhode Island School of Design, then returned home to finish school at California College of the Arts. After earning my BA in Graphic Design, I spent seven years as the lead designer at American Conservatory Theater. A.C.T. provided dream opportunities to art direct photo shoots, design integrated marketing campaigns, and collaborate with some of the Bay Area's best. I then took up post as Creative Director at San Francisco internet startup Bloomspot. It was an amazing experience to create a brand for a young, ambitious company. In January of 2013, Bloomspot was acquired by JPMorgan Chase where I currently work as an art director. Other projects include marketing campaigns for several documentary films as well as branding, logos, and identities for local businesses.

I feel so fortunate to love what I do, and to have collaborated with so many inspiring people along the way.

p.s. The best thing I've ever made is my 3-year-old daughter Sonoma Gail — my muse, my motivation.
