It goes something like this . . .
We’ll talk about your needs, budget, and timing. If it's a good fit I’ll provide a proposal that summarizes my understanding of your project along with the estimated costs, and timeline. This will serve as a guide if you decide to move forward.
We’ll discuss your business strategy, inspiration, and preferences to inform your project’s design, architecture, and functionality. Sometimes this step can include mood boards and sketches so we can get on the same page before any more in-depth design work begins.
I will explore a few directions for a project's general design. You will review and provide input, and I will revise. We'll narrow it down to a single direction and I'll provide another round of more focused designs. I’ll iterate on that direction until we come up with the final product
For website projects, I’ll show you how to manage your own content. Once the final content is added, we’ll go live. For print and branding projects, I provide you with the final files you require.
For website projects, we’ll see how things are behaving over time and make any necessary adjustments. For print projects I’ll oversee the printing process to make sure that colors, crop, and quality are on spec.
We wrap it up and it feels like this. There are a lot of ways to stay relevant and engaging as your brand develops and your needs change. A long-term relationship with a client is what I strive for. If I can continue to be a part of your brand's evolution the work just gets better and better.
